Clemens and Sheila’s Kale Fry

This recipe is from Clemens and Sheila, two wonderful local businesspeople and passionate foodies who have been very supportive of our farm.

Heat olive oil in a pan.
Add 1/2 sweet onion, sliced or chopped. Cook until translucent.


  • Handful of sliced mushrooms
  • 2 handfuls trimmed green beans
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup white wine

Cook until beans are almost tender.


  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 bunch kale (6 leaves), chopped or torn

Cool until kale has wilted.


  • 1/2 lemon’s juice
  • Small handful grated parmesan

Toss to coat and serve immediately.
